Give time to God, not your problems.

If we were to give God HALF the time and energy we devote to other things and people then we most likely would have a better handle on our  lives.

Usually when we start dating someone new, we think about them all the time and try to spend as much time as possible with them. And if that person says or does

something that is questionable we can be disturbed to our core.

Even when trouble swings by our house for a long or short visit, we devote hours of time thinking about the problem or trying to create a solution. And if we have to we call people/family/friends to either vent or ask them for an opinion. Depending on how close the issue is to our heart we can loose sleep and/or appetite.

Are we just as concerned with our relationship with God as we are with earthly visible issues? While we are being consumed with our struggles or desires, God is standing there like ...What about Me?

He's gotta stay number one in our hearts and minds , so that everything else will fall in  place.

There are so many promises and responses in the Word of God that can take care of (and explain) our issues whether it be a personal relationship, economic trouble or health problem. But instead of praying we worry, instead of fasting we fight (physically or  verbally) and instead of declaring what God says, we speak death to our situations.

It can be so tiresome continuing to fight life on your own...pull over ...

Try praying:
"Today Lord I'm seeking You to remove a load off my shoulders and my heart. It is written in 1Peter 5:7 that i can give all my worries to you because you care for me. Today i am choosing to believe that you care. Thank you for moving on my behalf as I release to you my money, relationship, health, etc....I trust you to do what seems right in your eyes, because you have my best interest at heart."

-If we instead worry and fret about outcomes or end results that haven't happened yet, then we are already defeated. Something's are just out of our control... But God is still in control! Our duty then, is to be in the right position to receive our blessings and deliverances.-
